Nadia has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto. Her additional training includes a certificate in Solution-Focused Counselling from the University of Toronto School of Social Work, Embodied Spirituality trainings with Julie Leavitt and others, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction professional training with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli. She is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Nadia provided counselling and wellness programs with various organizations including the Ontario College of Art and Design University, Integra Children's Mental Health Centre and currently with Physiomed and in private practice.
An artist and a poet, she is passionate about the Divine, in particular the divine presence (or a sense of peace, love and wisdom) within each person and in all of life. Her interest is in sharing a deep sense of peace and joy with others through facilitating nourishing, inspiring and empowering workshops and individual soul-centered counselling sessions.
