TRuth Hope and Love Library
The TRuth Hope and Love Library honours the life of Ruth Trimmer (1945 - 2008), whose journey reflected well her life long values of pursuing truth, nourishing hope, and becoming love. Many books in the library had belonged to Ruth, and were used in her daily spiritual practice, and in developing her commitment to being of service to others.
The TRuth, Hope and Love Library at Transense is available for all clients, Practitioners, family and friends to join and to borrow books. We hope you will enjoy being a part of our library to help and support you on your own journey.
Joining the Library
To join the library, you will need to register and make a one time payment of $20. This payment goes towards deposit on books borrowed, administration and upkeep of the library and is not refundable.
Borrowing Books
Books can be borrowed to take home, by selection from the shelves, then registering your loan. Book loans are for a one month period and should be returned on or before the due date given.
You are of course, welcome to enjoy the books while at Transense in the waiting room.
Late Returns
You will not be permitted to borrow from the library if you have any book outstanding.
Care of Books
Please take care of our books. Any losses or severe damage (beyond wear and tear) will restrict the further borrowing of books.
Library Management
All registrations, loans and enquiries should be undertaken with Sophia in reception in the first instance. Dr Derek Cain and Stephanie are also available to help you with registration and loans.
Donations
We would like to thank all those who have donated books to date. Transense is pleased to accept donations of spiritual, health and wellness and therapy books to add to the library.
