Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is the most widely used method in counselling and psychotherapy for combatting depression, for one simple reason: it works. In this brief free workshop, Patricia introduces you to cognitive, emotive, and behavioral techniques to overcome and prevent depression. When your thoughts are negative or pessimistic, this can maintain depressive symptoms. In this Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Workshop on Depression you’ll learn to recognize how your thinking affects your mood. You’ll also learn strategies to modify negative thoughts which can help improve your mood.
Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all impact and are impacted by each other. Strategies of CBT intervene mostly at the thought level to impact feelings, but sometimes the behavioral level as well.
